Books I’ve read:
Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High, Second Edition A book that is “crucial” (pardon the pun) for having tough discussions, whether it’s in work, or home, or anywhere in between.
The Checklist Manifesto: How To Get Things Right If you do anything that requires an easy, repeatable process that should be followed every time, this is a fantastic read. Short, and to the point, it shows how creating a checklist for any set of tasks can make massive improvements on how you handle your day.
21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership This book has been standard reading for all of us at work who aspire to leadership of any description. While it can be a lengthy read, the fact that each of the laws stands alone with little, if any, relation to the others means that it’s easy to read in chunks. This is definitely one that needs to be revisited regularly to get the most out of it.
